A Nevada lawmaker has posted her family Christmas photo to Facebook and, in addition to the festive red shirts, everyone (including a young boy) is holding a gun.
Michele Fiore, a Republican assemblywomen, also included a message in the post just in case the firearms didn’t make it clear.
“It’s up to Americans to protect America,” Fiore wrote Monday. “We’re just your ordinary American family. With love & liberty, Michele”
Seven guns appear in the photo, one for every family member too old to be held by his or her mother.
In the top left corner the card lists the guns photographed: a Beretta 92FS, Glock 30 .45ACP, Serbu Super-Shorty 12-gauge shotgun, Extar EXP-556, Walther P22 (LR), Glock 19 9mm and Glock 30 .45ACP.
The model of each gun is also listed alongside the name of family member.
